I call this circulation of looking "funny."
It is a way into making the world one's own.

残虐でおぞましく見えたかと思うと、かわいらしく愛おしく見える。マッチョな古典彫刻のようでいて、軽やかでポップなアートにも見える。

やっと捕まえた答えが、捕まえた途端に指の間をすり抜けていく。そうしている間に、目の前に新しい答えが飛んでくる。

私はこの鑑賞の循環構造を〈ファニー〉と呼んでいる。
それは世界を自分ごとにする入り口になる。
